my life

this project was fun due to the fact that we got to look back on our past. it was fun  going through old pictures. i used the song No Such Thing by John Mayer. in my video the song is Here Comes The Boom by Nelly. i used the song by John Mayer because it is him recalling on his memories of growing up and going through high school. i found all my information by typing in 1996 on wikepedia. also i google searched average prices for 1996. i thought that the websites i used were pretty good because it is roughly around the same information that everyone else had. i used some photoshop and cropting to help make my pictures mor visible.i feel that i am good at making informational power points which is what mymovie basically is which isnt what the project called for. i kind of struggled with finding some of the information. this is because it was a lot of reading. i chose to use still slides because i didnt know how to make animated slides. i used a consistent slide background through the whole movie with a similar transition. i had put that my favorite sport was football so i used a compilation of football hits for my video at the end. if we need to make a project about our life for Grammar or speech i could use the same or use information from this project. i cited must of my sources and i used zamzar which is legal as long as you use it for school related purposes. i would not probably do another one of these on my own because it was a lot of work and im really lazy.

music genome

this project was a fun way to learn about the many genres in the music business today. also it taught us how to mix songs together to use in a project that requires multiple songs. again we got to use i movie which is a tool that will come in handy for future projects. i thought that my video at the end could have been better because i forgot that we needed a video and just cut up a video and put it at the end. i thought overall tho that my video was decent and had good information in it. however there are pars that i could have done better.

imovie project

i enjoyed working with my group to complete this project. i found that this project was an easy assignment to do once i figured out the direction, that were somewhat confusing. this project showed me the other ways to use imovie make an informational movie for a topic. i thought we worked well on this, and we all did our share of the work. i also thought we did a good job on the overall project. i thought everything followed the directions to the fullest points. i also thought that having Joe Doyle Collins as our interviewer helped bring a fun aspect to the movie. i think that it will be a good informational tool for the upcoming class of 2015 next year for those who want to partake in the swimming and diving teams 

podcast

1. i used the tools in garageband to complete this assignment.
2. i could use this for if he have something to give a speech about a topic and need to use visual items to help with the words. also i could use this if i take films class when im a senior to help talk about the movie we just watched.
3. this could be used if u had to give a speech for a business promoting a product or something. 
4. the part that i found easy was the making of the script. the part that i found hard was actually finding a place that was quiet enough to record this. 
5. i dont get this question. 


i enjoyed this project. it was a fun way to learn how to make a podcast using garageband. it was also fun to explore the possibilities that garage band has to offer. also it was fun to listen to the other kids in the class talk about their favorite movie.

begging of storyboard

this project was somewhat confusing. i found the instructions hard to follow and confusing in parts. other then that i found that, once i understood the directions, it was an easy powerpoint to put together. it was fun working with the people in our group and i thought we worked well together. the feedback from the class was good although it was somewhat repetitive. it will be fun to see how our storyboards become movies in the final product. this project helped me learn how to put together an informational slideshow using power point.

iphoto project

this project was a fun way to learn how to use iphoto on our macs. it was an easy way to learn how to use all the things iphoto can do to help you manage your photos. it was also fun finding pictures on the internet to find objects that looked like the letters in our name. the best part about this project was that we got to see every ones photo project after we were done. the one thing i didn't like about this project was how you were not able to move your slides around inside your slide show. it wont let me put my video on this blog it says that its not in my folder.

mm/charity blog thingy

i thought that this project was a fun and creative idea to learn how to use excel and the many things you can do on it. it was cool to learn how to use all the functions and stuff like that to help make the project easier. it was also fun to get to play with m&ms and pick pictures to put on the spread sheet. then the charity project was fun because we were aloud to make up our own business and business logo. i had fun on these projects.

[Your response to this question can be related to the information, skills, or process of the project.] 1. the name of my business is sunshine chris enterprises, and the charity im supporting is the intrepid fallen heroes foundation. 2. in this project i learned how to use the mail merge thing. 3.the easiest part of this project was writing the letter, and the hardest thing was doing the mail merge because it was kind of difficult to figure it out. i will most likely use this skill if i ever need to send a letter to a group of people. it was nice to know to that you dont have to write out every name and adress. 5. the new thing i learned was the mail merge thing.
